The Prime Directive...

    Of IFT is to "Live the Dream" conceived of by Gene Roddenberry and reflected in Star Trek. We the Captain and Crew of the USS GENE RODDENBERRY do what we can to accomplish this mission. One of the aspects of this mission is the sharing of resources and knowledge in peaceful cooperation. To accomplish this part of the mission the RODDENBERRY participates in fund erasing activities for various charitable organizations.

    There are several charitable organizations currently working to better this world and it's inhabitants. Each year the RODDENBERRY chooses a new organization to raise funds for and support. At a recent chapter meeting several charitable organizations were suggested. A voting poll has been setup to help decide which of these suggested charitable organizations to select for 2008.

    The poll will close December 15, 2007. Please take a moment to vote on the charitable organization we should support. This poll is open to all, the results will be tallied and an announcement will be made at the close of the poll.
